About the Publisher

Strata Publishing, Inc., is an independent publishing house addressing the needs of college students, scholars, and professionals in communication and journalism.

Dedicated to publishing books for mid-level and advanced courses, Strata strives for excellence in all aspects of the publishing process: editorial, design, production, and marketing. Its focus is on publishing a few, well-chosen books. Several award-winning titles are included in its list.

Kathleen Domenig, the publisher, has been involved with college publishing since 1977. Prior to establishing Strata, she worked for Random House and Holt, Rinehart and Winston. She has a Ph.D. in communication from Penn State.

Brian Henry, the general manager, has worked in college publishing for over fifteen years. He has a B.A. in communication and an M.B.A. from Penn State.
